Waymier
At his residence in Union Twp February 23, 1868, Enoch Waynier, aged 49 years.
the Angel of Death has again thrown his shadwo across the path of one of our own.
Mr. Waymier was born in Montgomeray county, Ohio December 20, 1819 and emigrated in
early life to Clinton county, this state where he lived until the year 1852 when he moved
to this township, and died here in the house of his friends, in the sweet assurance of
reat in Heaven. he was a member of the M E Church for 14 years and though of a joyous and
impressible temperament, he was solemn and earnest on the subject of religion.
Thus he passes from us, mourned, perhaps without exception, by every one who knew him.
he died in the full assurance of everlasting happiness. "Thus the Christian
dies" - with his armor on - his face Zion ward. The funeral was largely attended .
