I contacted the list a while back requesting
information on Charles and Clara Allman. I have got a
bit more information to share. Clara was born a Hurd,
she married Calvin CLEAR (son of Samuel) in Miami
County in 1899. They lived for a short time in Ohio
where their first son was born in 1900. They had
daughters in Miami County in 1903 and 1906 and Calvin
committed suicide in Peru in 1907. In 1912 in Miami
County Clara married her second husband, Charles
ALLMAN. I found a copy of Clara's will in a box of old
papers, it was dated May 18, 1951, so she died
sometime after that. She was born in 1881 so it's
possible she didn't die for quite some time after
that.

Her son, John (1900-1936) predeceased her, apparently
