I don't have access to the papers, but it is possible that she did live in
another county and was buried next to her husband in Amboy Friends Cemetery.
I wonder if Amboy or surrounding areas may have a library that has good
genealogy info.

Subject: [INMIAMI-L] Amboy Friends Cemetery question
I have a question and hopefully someone may be able to help me. I
have a
relative buried in the Amboy cemetery. She died in 1914. So I wrote to the
Miami Co. Health Department requesting a death record. They write back
saying they have no such person listed. They searched 1907-15 (don't know
why they did not search 4 years before and 4 years after), anyway, is
there
a chance she may have died in the neighboring counties and been
buried
next
to her first husband in Amboy?
What do you think is the best way for finding out which county she died
in?
There is a fee per county searched at the health department, and I
don't
know where to tell them to look. Does anyone have access to the Amboy
newspaper obituaries that could look it up for me? Hopefully it would tell
where she lived when she died.
Thanks,
Luis Beal
