Hi Douglas!
My 4th ggrandfather was John GARBER 4/14/1785 - 4/7/1866 was married to
Elizabeth SMITH 8/31/1794 - 3/2/1866. They had 3 dau's and 1 son from what I
have found. I looked through your website briefly, but didn't find anything
that looked familiar. Have good info on down my line if you would like to
exchange via email. Let me know. jrmoore(a)innova.net.
Thanks,
Stella

Hi Stella,
I am trying to sort out the descendants of Johannes GERBER d 1777 Berks
Co., PA, my
4th gg, from the rest of the GERBER-GARVER-GARBERs. My web page
contains a report listing many of them:
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/g/a/r/Douglas-M-Garber/ .
Most of my GERBER descendants were Amish-Mennonites and the two largest
settlements
in Indiana were, I believe, Lagrange and Elkhart counties.
However, I must have a dozen other counties in IN where they settled
including Miami Co. Could you tell me a bit about your GARBER line?
