ones buried in the Shoemaker Cemetery near Peru?

Virginia Lee McGuire, 81, Denver, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday,
March 19, 2005 at her residence.
She was born on February 6, 1924 in Miami County to Glen E. and Sadie A.
(Jones) Shoemaker. She married Dean H. McGuire on February 26, 1946 at the
home of the late Reverend C. F. Golden near Denver.
Virginia was a very talented woman and enjoyed playing the piano and organ,
especially for her church, the Chili Baptist Church, for which she was a
member for over 20 years. She was also an avid bingo player, and enjoyed
collecting antiques.
She is survived her husband; one brother, Gene Shoemaker, Fishers; three
nieces, Elaine Powell, Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Jan Haas, Warsaw, and Sue
Garber, Zionsville; and three nephews, Rich and Jim Shoemaker, both of Ft.
Wayne, and Jason Shoemaker, Syracuse.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rosanna
Shoemaker; and two brothers, Byron and Jack Shoemaker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at McClain Funeral
Home, Denver, with the Reverends Gene Personett and Bill Shewman
officiating.
Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Denver.
Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chili Baptist Church.
