Hi Regine,
I think I prefer to get it all at once. During the
middle of the year I am too busy with the cemetery
additions, so the end of the year is when I will have
more time to take care of getting it online.
Not sure what to tell you about the Wabash obits. It
doesn't exactly fit into the Miami County INGenWeb
pages, although I am sure there are quite a few with
Miami County connections. Some of the county
coordinators are of the opinion that using newer
obituaries violates copyright laws. That may be the
problem with Mike not publishing them.
That would be great to have older obits from the Peru
Papers, but it is also a big job. I am gleaning Miami
County obits from the Kokomo Tribune as I get them,
but that is about the best I can do right now on Miami
County obits.
If anyone would want to volunteer for a year of obits
from the Peru papers, I would be glad to assign years
so there is no duplication. Any takers? For
out-of-the-region researchers - this can be done by
borrowing the film thru the Interlibrary Loan
Department of your local public library. (They
usually get the film on loan thru the Indiana State
Library.)

Thanks Deb!
My 2007 file is growing.
Would you like it sooner?
If anyone is interested I have also collected
Wabash Co Obits for the past 2 years (2005-current).
I don't think they have been posted on the Wabash
Co site although I mail them to the coordinator too.
I wish I could go to the library and start
extracting the old obits... That would be very
valuable too... maybe more so...
Take care,
Regine
