Marie Navarro Hill
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother has returned to her heavenly home to
be with the Lord at 4:20 a.m. on May 12, 2005 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Hill was born in Laredo, Texas on September, 18 1925 to Concepcion Navarro. She was
married to the late George Edward Hill Sr. in 1942.
Hill moved to Indiana in 1990 after retiring from Richlein Laundry in Phoenix, where she
worked as a floor supervisor. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, watching old movies and
working in the flower garden and with indoor plants.
Hill was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hill Sr.; one infant daughter, San
Juanita Raigola; sister, Mary Lou Rodriguez; and mother, Concepcion Navarro.
She is survived by nine children, George E. Hill Jr., Tacoma, Washington, Isaac M. Hill,
Anchorage, Michael L. Hill, Peoria, Arizona, Theodore J. Hill, Colorado Springs,
Martimiano Singleterry, Arizona, Patrick Lee King, Mesa, Arizona, Bonnie E. Cano, Salt
Lake City, Mary M. Ridenour, Logansport and Delores P. Morales, Phoenix; 22 grandchildren;
and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 19 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary in
Phoenix, Arizona.
Burial services will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix.
Teresa M. Arrick, 92

Teresa M. Arrick, 92, Peru, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005.
Arrick was born in Peru on June 14, 1912 to Guy and Minnie Clem Comerford. She was a 1930
graduate of Clay Township High School, and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Arrick was a homemaker for several years, and was a member of the Altar and Rosary
Society, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Butler Happy Homemakers for over 70 years.
She is survived by one son, Patrick Arrick and wife Bonnie, Peru; one daughter, Rita
Neibert and husband Joseph, Lamar, Colorado; five grandchildren, Alicia Arrick, Nashville,
Christopher Arrick, Greenville, South Carolina, Michael Neibert, Norfolk, Virginia,
Jeffery Neibert, Cheyenne Wells, Colorado and Mark Neibert, Golden, Colorado; five
great-grandchildren, Corlynn Neibert, Marcus Neibert, Sarah Neibert, Michael Neibert and
Annie Neibert; and one great-great-grandson.
Arrick was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and one sister.
Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic
Church, with the Reverend Francis I. Kilcline III officiating.
Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Peru.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral
Home, Peru. There will also be a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society
or to Caring Hands.
Louis Henry Arwood, 86

Louis Henry Arwood, 86, Peru, passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2005 following
an extended illness at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru.
Arwood was born on January 13, 1919 in Mexico to Joe and Rilda (Dilts) Arwood, and married
Irene Katherine Fitzgerald on September 6, 1941. He was a member of the Parkview United
Methodist Church, and served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He is survived by three sons, William Arwood and wife Carolyn, Kirtland, Ohio, Lee Arwood
and wife Beth, Wabash, and Mark Arwood and wife Jan, Hilliard, Ohio; one daughter, Dianna
Wilson and husband, Sam, Peru; and one sister, Helen Walden, Peru; 10 grandchildren; and
six great-grandchildren.
Arwood was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Leonard, Robert, Joe, Richard,
and John Arwood.
Funeral services will be conducted at Parkview United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on
Tuesday with Pastors Ken Walker and J. Robert Clark officiating.
Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru.
Montana J. Selleck, 14

Montana J. Selleck, 14, Peru, passed away at 7:54 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2005 at his
residence.
The North Miami Junior High School eighth grader was born on February 10, 1991 in Peru to
Michael L. Selleck and Kathleen A. (Reed) Fisher, both of Peru. He enjoyed hunting,
fishing, cars, and riding dirt bikes.
Selleck is survived by his parents; step-mother, Lisa Selleck; step-father, Rex Fisher;
paternal grandparents, Fred and Connie Selleck, and Joe and Eva Olivarez, each of Peru;
several aunts; uncles; and cousins; nieces and nephews, Brendan Tracy, Briona Cline, and
Riley Patrick; brothers, Eric Pitts and Philip Burgus, both of Peru; sisters, Heather
Hill, Tavon Cline, Jessica Patrick, each of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Margaret Reed.
Funeral services will be conducted at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, on Tuesday at 11
a.m. with Pastor John Thomas officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Love offerings may be made to the family to help with expenses.
S. Jeanne Fuller, 64

S. Jeanne Fuller, 64, Peru, passed away at 10:41 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2005 at Dukes
Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 27, 1940 in Lagrange County to Jerome and Lillian (Stropagel)
Parks, and married Marion T. Fuller on September 29, 1958 in Elkhart.
Fuller retired following a career as a nurse's aide both at Miller's Merry Manor,
Peru, and Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester. She attended Zion Chapel, Peru.
She is survived by two sons, Lance Fuller, Three Rivers, Michigan, and D. Lynn
'Beave' Fuller and wife Carrie, Denver; two daughters, Donna Walter and husband
Richard, and Bonnie Gibbs, each of Peru; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Jeff, Gabe, Ryne, Dew,
and L-Train Fuller, and Sean and Sara Jones, Mrs. Shane (Samantha) Malott, Jeremy and
Steven Harshman; one great-grandson, Dominick Jones; one brother, Mickey Parks and wife
Marcinda; one brother-in-law, Ronald Coulter, Elkhart; and one sister-in-law, Betty Kuehm,
Memphis.
Fuller was preceded in death by her husband.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Chili Cemetery with
Pastor Rod Correll officiating.
There will be no visitation.
