Celia 'Jean' Wiggins, 72

Celia 'Jean' Wiggins, 72, Logansport, formerly of Bunker Hill, passed away at
11:31 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2005 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born December 1, 1932 in Georgetown, Kentucky to George and Lucille (Cook) Gray,
and married Leroy Wiggins at Onward Christian Church on July 23, 1950.
Wiggins was retired from civil service, and was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary,
enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband; four children, Yvetta Mae Sims and husband Mike,
Logansport, Samuel Lee Wiggins and wife Linda, York Haven, Pennsylvania, Leroy Edward
Wiggins, Logansport and Joseph Albert Wiggins, Logansport; three brothers, George, Larry
and Jerry Gray, all of Cynthiana, Kentucky; one sister, Sadie Petters, Georgetown; 13
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11 a.m. at Allen Funeral Home, Bunker
Hill, with Pastor Rod Mason officiating.
Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Onward Christian Church.
Charles E. Bunnell, 84

Charles E. Bunnell, 84, Peru, passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Parkview
Hospital, Ft. Wayne, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 27, 1920 in Peru to Charles A. and Emma Kemps Bunnell, and married
LaVerne M. Hagan in the St. Charles Catholic Church on
November 19, 1946. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1985.
Bunnell graduated from Peru High School in 1938, and served in the U. S. Army during World
War II. His decorations include the EAME Theater Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, and the
World War II Victory Medal. He worked as a crew dispatcher in the C&O Railroad office
in Peru for more than 45 years. He was a life-long Peru and Miami County resident, and he
and his wife LaVerne lovingly raised two wonderful children. A man of great faith and
integrity, he was an active member of the St. Charles Catholic Church. Bunnell also was a
member of the Peru Glen Owens American Legion Post #14 and the Miami County VFW Post
#2067. He served as an officer in the local Brotherhood of Railway, Airline and Steamship
Clerks. Bunnell was a lover of animals and rescuer of stray cats. He thoroughly enjoyed
gardening and raising flowers, and was an avid angler, along with being an enthusiastic
Indiana University basketball fan and Notre Dame football fan.
He is survived by a son, Charles A. Bunnell and wife Linda, Lafayette; a daughter, Cathy
Converse and husband Thomas, Peru; four grandchildren, Susanne Spence, Tanya Ramey,
Kristen Milroy and Katrina Milroy; four great-grandchildren, Zachary Ramey, Alexander
Ramey, Matthew Ramey and Elise Spence; and a sister, Eunice Gilbert, Indianapolis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the St. Charles
Catholic Church, with the Reverend Francis I. Kilcline III officiating. Burial will take
place in Mount Hope Cemetery, with military graveside services provided by members of the
Miami County Military Rites Unit. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the
Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, Peru.
There will be a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the American Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Paul D. Rollins, 65, Fowlerton, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Marion General
Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Armes-Hunt Funeral Home,
Fairmount, with the Reverend Gleason Hackett officiating.
Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wendell R. Moon, 84, Twelve Mile, passed away at 5:19 a.m. on Saturday, may 21, 2005 at
Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at McClain Funeral Home,
Denver, with Pastor Teri White officiating.
Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Richard D. Dickerhoff, 75

Richard D. Dickerhoff, 75, Mentone, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005 at
his residence following an extended illness.
Dickerhoff was born on August 29, 1929 in Silver Lake to Devon Dickerhoff and Helen Opple,
and he married Iris V. Jones on March 1, 1952.
Dickerhoff lived in the area his entire life, and was the owner of Dickerhoff Trucking,
specializing in long distance livestock hauling. He was co-founder of TTP, Inc. in
Pierceton, and was a lifelong farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the Mentone United
Methodist Church, as well as the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge in Warsaw. Dickerhoff was a
member of the John Purdue Club, and was a Loyal Tippecanoe Valley Viking fan.
Dickerhoff was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Post
49.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Amy Dickerhoff, Mentone, and Alicia Cervenka
and husband Dean, Lafayette; two sons, Don A. Dickerhoff, Warsaw, and Doug R. Dickerhoff
and wife Kelly, Warsaw; six grandchildren, Calan and Danika Cervenka, Emma and Dan
Dickerhoff, Tanner and Addie Dickerhoff; and one sister, Virginia Heisler and husband
Carl, Claypool.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Dan Dickerhoff, who passed away in
1963.
Funeral services will be conducted at King Memorial Home, Mentone, on Monday at 10:30
a.m., with the Reverends Doris Smith and Don Poyser officiating.
Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday at King Memorial Home
from 2 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to either the American Heart Association, the
Mentone United Methodist Church or the Kosciusko County Hospice.
