Larry G. Chilcutt, 59, Bunker Hill, passed away on May 14, 2005 at 11:11 p.m. at Dukes
Memorial Hospital.
Chilcutt was born on April 24, 1946 in Peru, to Revoe and Maxine Chilcutt. He married
Susan Miller on November 10, 1971.
Chilcutt was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U.S. Army from March 2, 1966 to February
14, 1968.
Chilcutt retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo, where he was a national salvage
manager. He also helped Matt and Jeff at MC Contracting and Laycock Auction Service.
Chilcutt was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
His hobbies included fishing, watching NASCAR, motorcycles, working outdoors in his yard
and spending time with his granddaughter Brooklynn. He was also a member of the Kokomo
Euchre Club.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Chilcutt, Bunker Hill; a daughter, Nancy Lewis, Kokomo; a
granddaughter, Brooklynn Lewis; father-in-law, Richard Miller and his wife Carolyn;
mother-in-law Mary Helen Dockum and her husband Don, Dunnellon, Florida; brother, Tom
Chilcutt and his wife Marie, Peru; two brothers-in-law, John Miller and his wife Rose
Marie, Orlando, and Jim Miller and his wife Shirley; sister, Linda Hare, Peru; and
half-sister Debbie Massey and her husband Jeff, Greentown.
Chilcutt was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted by Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home on Friday at 11 a.m. with
the Reverend George McCarty officiating.
There will be a military committal service at his burial site at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will take place on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Flowers-Leedy
Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to his granddaughter
Brooklynn's trust fund.
