Maynard DeWayne 'Pete' Myers, 70, Peru, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 4:35
a.m. at the VA Hospital, Marion.
He was born December 15, 1934 in Peru, to Vernon Wilbur and Esther Fern (Ream) Myers.
Myers graduated from Peru High School in 1952, and was a member of the Peru Circus Hall of
Fame, the Moose Lodge and served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to golf, enjoyed
vacationing on cruise ships, liked talking to people and was a friend to all.
He is survived by three brothers, Melvin Myers, Peru, Elvin Myers and wife Dorothy, Peru,
and Delmar Myers and wife Sandy, North Manchester; a sister, Fayette and husband Bill
McClain, New Waverly; six nephews, Danny Myers and wife Beth, Peru, Phillip Myers and wife
AIlison, Denver, Alan Myers, Pine Island, Minn., Jerry McClain and wife Lola, Lafayette,
Terry McClain, and Cliff McClain and wife Kim, both of Logansport; six nieces, Elizabeth
Baines and husband Dennis, Lafayette, Ruth Huff and husband David, Logansport, Nancy Mason
and husband Mark, Raleigh N.C., Kimberly Myers, Fort Wayne, Reja Enyart and companion
Kerry Townsend, Peru, Roberta Charters and husband David, Lafayette; and special friend,
David Spearin, Peru.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241
Manchester Ave., Wabash on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Robert 'Bob' Hartgrove, 79

Robert 'Bob' Hartgrove, 79, Bunker Hill, passed away at 10:42 p.m. on Tuesday, May
10, 2005 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 20, 1925 in Miami County to William Thomas and Maudie May (Jackson)
Hartgrove, and married Sandra (Ramer) Hartgrove.
The disabled veteran attended the Free Will Baptist Church, Bunker Hill, and served in the
U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammara Studebaker and husband Mike, Bunker Hill; three
grandchildren, Scott, Chris and Cindy Studebaker; and two sisters, Maxine Locke, Bunker
Hill and Bertha Garbert, Peru.
He was preceded by death by his parents; wife; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church,
Bunker Hill, with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating.
Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to time of service on Friday.
Arrangements are being handled by the Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill.
Love offerings may be made to the family to help with expenses.
Anna Lee Flynn, 68

Anna Lee Flynn, 68, Peru, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Dukes
Continuing Care.
She was born August 30, 1936 in Pulaski County, Ky., to Charles and Ollie (Tucker) Flynn.
She was retired from Square D, was a life member of the VFW auxiliary and a member of the
Eagles auxiliary. Flynn was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Chester Flynn, and Bobby J. Flynn, both of Kentucky; and
one sister, Lenna Walden, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, with
Pastor Robert Stuck officiating.
Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will
be a VFW auxiliary service Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home
