James "Jim" F. Shrock, 80

James "Jim" F. Shrock, 80, Kokomo, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Monday, July 4,
2005 at Century Villa Health Care, Greentown.
He was born May 16, 1925 north of Plevna to Harry B. and Ella Sommers Shrock. He married
Annabelle Mishler Shrock July 6, 1946 at Converse Methodist Church, and she survives.
Shrock graduated from Greentown High School in 1944, and served for two years in the U.S.
Army during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. He also was owner and operator of Plevna
Implement Company from 1945 to 2001. He was a member of the Greentown Masonic Service F
& AM 341 for 50 years, a member of the Greentown Order of the Eastern Star, past
president of Shrock Cemetery Association, past member of the Indiana Implement Dealer
Association and past member of the Dealer Advisory Association. In addition, he enjoyed
golf and fishing.
Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Bruce Shrock and wife Paula, Brad Shrock
and wife Mary, and Bill Shrock and wife Kathy, all of Greentown; a brother, Kenneth
Shrock, Kokomo; two sisters, Pauline Miller and husband Henry, and Miriam Haun, all of
Kokomo; six grandchildren, Gayle Lessman and husband Ryan, Denver, Colo., Trent and
Marissa Shrock, Drew Shrock and fiancee Alyssa Seagraves, Kyle Shrock and fiancee Cami
Hensler, all of Greentown, and Kent Shrock and wife Kristin, Fishers.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Greentown, with
the Rev. Michael Goodspeed officiating. Burial will be in Shrock Cemetery, Kokomo, with
military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post 317. Calling will be from 2 to
8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer
Research Foundation, with envelopes available at the viewing and service. Funeral
arrangements are being handled by Hasler-Stout Funeral Home, Greentown.
Ruby P. Davis, 94

Ruby P. Davis, 94, Wabash, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Monday, July 4, 2005 at Parkview
Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Nov. 7, 1910 in Converse to Charles Albert and Elizabeth Ellen (Clem) White.
She married Robert P. Davis on March 21, 1933 in Indianapolis; he passed away April 21,
1995.
Davis was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Montgomery and husband Larry, Peru; a son, Robert L.
Davis and wife Claudia, Goldsboro, N.C.; two grandsons, Michael Montgomery, Kokomo, and
Reid A. Davis and wife April, Apex, N.C.; four granddaughters, Lisa Partlow and husband
Tim, Covington, Ga., Megan Davis, Goldsboro, N.C., Dawn Saunders and Amy Wall and husband
Bill, all of Huntington; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Friday,
with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery,
Andrews.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Wilma M. Snyder, 91, formerly of Amboy, passed away at 7 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005 at her
son Ronald's residence in Leeds, Ala.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy,
with Pastor William S. Allison officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
