Thanks a lot for your help. I am aware of these Gibson's. My Sarah A. Gibson
was born abt.1838 in Ky. Her suspected father is Soloman Gibson. He was in
Ky. prior to 1855 but seems to have missed the 1850 census which would have
had Sarah A. listed if she was his daughter. We all need time machines to go
back and find our missing information.
Ron Gibson

There is only one Sarah Gibson in the 1850 census from Martin County
that's
the right age.
Perry Twp, Martin Co. 1850
Thomas M. Gibson 36 Merchant KY
Sarah Jane Gibson 28 Indiana
Lara Gibson 10 Indiana
Sarah Gibson 8 Indiana
Charles Gibson 6 Indiana
Wm Gibson 4 Indiana
Mary McFee 50 VA
John McFee 32 Teamster VA
Ephrian Lee 23 Laborer Ohio
Charles Dugan 21 Indiana
Ignatius Cassel 16 Laborer Indiana
Edward Anthony 15 Clerk Indiana
Interestingly, I didn't find Sarah Gibson-John Nail on the Indiana
Marriages on ancestry. They are usually pretty complete.

I have a marriage license for Sarah A. Gibson to John Nail on
March 16, 1858. My thinking is that the Return Of A Marriage To County
Clerk
record would have the names of their parents. I think the father of Sarah
A.
is Solomon Gibson but I cant prove it.
