Subject: [INMARTIN] Old Martin Co. courthouse
Since I'm taking a moment to review my Carrico info in Martin
Co., IN, I'm
wondering how far along the Martin Co. Historical Soc. is going through
the
boxes in the Old Martin Co. courthouse basement.
Back in the 1970's a distant cousin had located the will of John A.
Carrico in
a
box in that basement. She wasn't able to make a photocopy at the
time, but
read
the contents into a tape recorder. At some point in time, I'm
hopeful that
his
will is found & I'm able to obtain copies of the records.

Hi Linda,
The marriage record does say Hendricks, but
I have copy of marriage from St. Mary's Church, Barr Twp. Daviess Co. IN.
This is
where they were married 3 Sept 1856.
The first 75 boxes of the Martin Co. probate
records were copied several years ago. I am
sending you Alexis Carricos. He does not have a will, just a probate record.
If I can be of further help to you please let me
know.
