I, too, am very interested in a picture of the oldest existing building where my
great-grandmother was born. Would
it be possible to share the picture of the stage-coach stop -- if a picture exists?
Thanks, Nancy

Hello, Nancy Baker:
Is there a photo of this stage coach stop taken pre-1900? Very interesting
- thanks for including that bit of information. If so, could someone scan it
and send it to me by email? I would like to use it in my book if possible,
as I describe the area when my grandparents were members of Christian church,
and charter members of the Rebeka Lodge.
Thanks.
Mt. Pleasant is in Perry Twp. There are a few houses and three cemeteries.
It is south of Loogootee just off of Hwy. 550. The only original building
still standing is a brick two story house that was used as a stage coach
stop.
Nancy
Blessings to you today!
