Subject: [INMARTIN] RE: Status of Old Martin Co. Courthouse
The Historical Society is still waiting for the county attorney
to get the papers drawn up. The surveying was supposed
to be last Friday.
We hope to move this summer sometime. Shelves will have
to be built before the old records can be brought up stairs for
viewing. The building is dirty and needs a good cleaning. All
items in old museum must be packed and labeled before we
can begin to move. All of this will be done by society members and
volunteer help.
It will be a HUGH undertaking.
Nancy Baker, Sec.
Martin Co. Hist. Soc.
