brother to my James!
James was born in Clark Co., IN, but moved to Jackson Co.,, about the time he was 18 yrs
old, then mustered
into the CW in Bartholomew Co., James was born in 1843.....I believe this is going to
start working out.
This is the exact information I've been missing, and wasn't sure what was missing,
you know, that brick wall?
Sometimes it's not the brick wall that your hitting, it's the brick wall in your
head, when you've been
working
so hard, and you forget what clues you really need to go after, after awhile!!!

IN. He was the father of 4 children. All are dead except a
grandson, Sol Neideffer. This obit is for the Andrew J. Best
that was b. 5 Feb 1842.
Obit for Mary Best, wife of A. J. Best. She was daug. of
Ferguson Clements & wife. She was the mother of 4 children. Ruth Neideffer was her
daughter and she died
28 years ago.
