Hi Sue,
I can get a couple of generations of Virginia Alice's and James's children
but it will take a little time so have patients.
Something I thought interesting was that on one side of James' headstone was
another Blair stone(unreadable) and then Thomas's headstone and on the other
side was the headstone of Virginia Alice's father and stepmother, Robert
Gibson and Emma Purcell.
It may be a little challenging to prove that James is Thomas's son but if it
proves out I would be glad to have that line. The Health Dept. at Shoals has
no death certificate for James Blair.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for that wealth of information!!
For at least the time being, I am going to assume that the James Blair,
buried next to Thomas S. is Tom's son. Since you were able to establish
the
birth
& death dates as belonging to the James who married Virginia
Alice Gibson,
I
would be grateful for any additional info on this family that you
would
like
to share.
I James proves to be Tom's son, I can give you the line back to the
immigrant
in 1739.
