Several years ago I worked on Carrie Craig, illegetimate daughter of Lou Craig. Louiza "Lou" Craig was mentally
unstable. This info was given to me by Zona Craig of Fayetteville, IN. Her husband was a cousin. Lou was sent
to a home several times. She was born in 1860 and died
in 1940. She is buried in Shiloh Cemetery in Lawrence Co.
Carrie Craig married Austin Mosier, Charles Sheetz and Joseph Varner. She was born 4 Sept 1880 in Lawrence Co.
IN and died in Bristol IL 19 June 1950.
I researched this for Bryan Shaver, grandson of Carrie Craig.
I have lots more on Craig family if it is needed.

Hello Nancy,
I saw your offer to do a lookup in Trueblood Cemetery. Would you please do
one for me also. I believe my ancestors, Burr Morris and his wife Francis
Morris, are buried there. Burr died in 1866 and Francis died in 1869. Would you
please look to see if any of their children are buried there. Robert Morris
died in 1917. I'm not certain abouut Elizabeth Morris, Elvira Morris, Hiram
Morris, Sarah Morris, Rebecca Morris.
Thank you.

Hi Nancy I saw your note and was wondering if you would see if any McFerrins are in this cemetery please?

I am hoping someone can help me with this information.
I am searching for information concerning Thomas W. Edington and Carra Belle
(Palmer) Edington. Thomas and Carra Belle were married in Greene County,
Indiana, 2 Sep 1899. Carra Belle Was born 21 Nov 1881 and died 1 Jan 1903.
She is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Stafford Township, Greene County,
Indiana. Thomas W. Edington was born in 1879. He died in 1920. He is buried
in Fairview Cemetery, Stockton Township, Greene County, Indiana.
Who were the children of this marriage?
The following letter was written on the inside of a birthday card my
Grandmother, Nellie Catherine (O'Haver) Palmer received in February of 1954.
"January 23, 1954, Dear Great Aunt Nellie, Altho you have never seen me I am
writing and wishing you a Happy Birthday. My mother is the former Alice L.
Edington from Linton. Mom was very sorry to hear about Uncle Sam [My
Grandfather/smc]. I have 2 girls 3 yrs and 1 1/2 yrs. We lost a little boy
in Oct. 1953. Do you have a picture of my mother's mother, Carrie Beatrice
(Bee)? If so I would like very much to have one so I can see how my
grand-mother looked. Take good care of yourselves and God Bless You. Write
to me." The letter is signed by Mrs. Mary Ross who was living in Loogootee
at the time the letter was written. The birthday card was signed as being
from Mary, Carl, Sue, and Terry Lynn Ross including the same address in
Loogootee. The letter is postmarked Shoals. Carra Belle (Carrie Beatrice)
was a sister to my grandfather, Samuel Boone Palmer. They were two of the
children of Phenis Palmer and Cynthia Ann (Waggoner) Palmer.
Any information that anyone can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ken:
I have a question for you. I have a listing of Indiana marriages which shows
Caroline M. Inman married to Wm M. McPherson 4 Oct 1855 (Book 1 Pg 235). Is
this just because whoever transcribed the original records couldn't make out
the spelling? Do you have a copy of the original license? Just wondering. My
husband's grandfather was Ralph Carlyle Inman who was the son of Benjamin
Inman and Surilda Ledgerwood. Looks like Abednego served in the Infantry during
the Civil War too.
Will definitely be keeping in touch.
Susan
Hi Susan Yes this person mispelled the name it should be William Adkins McFerrin. They made a mistake for sure with
his middle name.At this time I do not
have the license which would be nice and would really like to have it.Any way to get it?My records show this as
their true date of marriage.Information was handed down from my family records from one of my Grandfathers
sisters,my Great Auntie.
My family line From Caroline and William ---- one of their sons was
James Asbury McFerrin- his son Emmett Nixon McFerrin, his -son Kenneth James McFerrin- his son Kenneth Dwight
McFerrin --Thats me and another son by another marriage Emmett Austin McFerrin
Say Susan can you tell me what unit Abednego White Inman served in?Do you have his records of service? I have two
pictures of Carolines husband my 2nd Great Grandfather William in his Civil War Uniform one in his war uniform and
one in his dress uniform and his unit info too also a nice picture of Caroline.
I believe Abednego was born on 2/8/1809 Dandridge,Jefferson,TN and died 11/14/1863 in Martin county IN. I think
that he and wife are buried in the Old Inman Cemetery in Martin county IN. Is this what you have?
This is so great finding you folks. Ken

Hi Ken:
Sounds like this is the same family to me. I'm afraid I don't have very much
which is definite on the family. I have just started researching them. This
is on my husband's mother's side, I only just found out who Benjamin was. I
have gained information from some GedComs on the web, but don't have any
actual documentation yet. Neither do I have any pictures. My husband's mother
knew absolutely nothing about her father's family, except that they were from
Indiana. I am willing to share the material I have obtained. I did find
Abednego and family in Rutherford Township, Martin Co., Indiana in 1870 census.
Caroline M. Inman is 16yrs old at that time.
Let me know,
Susan
