I have a marriage in my family in Martin Co. - Fannie D. Henderson and Nathan Holt married July 5, 1862. Nathan apparently died in the Civil War - but if you can tie me into any info on his parents, I'd appreciate it! Fannie is part of my Henderson line.
Nathan is in the 1860 Martin Co. census, Halbert Twp, with his parents William, born KY, and Rebecca b. TN?, Nathan is oldest child, born IN. Other children include Mary, Cintha, Elisha, Rebecca, John, and Martha.
Let me know if our lines connect in Martin Co!

My guess is that Johnson and John might have been cousins.
Have you checked out the John W. Bruner born in Crawford
Co., Indiana? He was son of Nicholas Bruner who was brother
of Charles Bruner.

Thanks. Your are the 2nd one to tell me this. It's what I was afraid of. That's ok though, because I know John can be found. It will just take a lot more digging.

Johnson Bruner, appears to be the son of Charles Bruner but
no son John listed
Johnson married Eliza Slaughterback in 1854 at Crawford Co.,Indiana and seems to have jumped around several
counties in Indiana.
