I do not know Anna's parents, so if you are able to connect her to your Casey's and you can figure out who her parents were...I'd love that information. Hope what I gave you is helpful, sorry I don't have more. Sounds like you're on the right trail!

I am researching Dempsey Casey of Davises Co. and am trying to find other Casey kin in the state . His sister(Margaret) settled in Shelby Co. wife of Dan'l Padrick. His daughter(Sara) settled in Hancock Co. married to John Estes.
1850 is when Dempsey hit the state. Checking in the area around him. Thanks.
Hello Philadelphia
URGENT REQUEST!:
Now that we are over the holidays, This years is our 350th Anniversary of
the landing of the Swartwout family in North America. The name has many
variations such as Swarthout, Swartout, Swartwood, Swathwood, Swarthwood
etc. We need help in gather lines, pictures, articles, wills, what ever you
have stashed in your attic. We would really appreciated it if you shared
with us what you had, there a literally thousands of us here looking for
our roots, looking for connections. For our 350th Anniversary we need to
updated our list of folks out there that are descendants somewhere along the
line of any of those variations. We also have a family newsletter that cost
only $5.00 per year, a real bargain. Just send it your mailing address.
Every day I get e-mail asking me for help. Up here in Canada, there were two
brothers that had huge families, all the remains of their descendants are
the female sides. All the male went back to the States. I'm am the
maintainer of "The Updated Swartwout Chronicles" People submit their
lines-ged-coms etc. and I just drop them into the data base. It is
everyone's database. Each person is responsible for their own submissions.

I saw your notice in the Daviess county page. Do you have a Catherine McAtee
who married Hayden White in 1878? There were two Catherine's at the time but
I think this one was the daughter of Felix McAtee. Thank you for your time,
Donna dknind(a)prodigy.net
I have three Catherine McAtees:
CAtherine McAtee who married Roswell Boarman and lived in Marion Co, KY--this
wouldn't be her.
Catherine Amanda McAtee b. 4 Oct 1860 Daviess Co, IN to John Henry 'Jock'
McAtee and Theresa Louise Brewer. She married Thomas Martin Patterson 18 Oct
1878 at St. Mary's, Barr Twp, Daviess Co, IN. She died 14 Mar 1893 in
Loogootee, Martin Co, IN.
Catherine E. McAtee b. 18 Jun 1843 dau of Daniel McAtee and Lucinda A. 'Lucy'
Kidwell. She died in infancy 17 Aug 1843.
I don't have all the information on Felix D. (Daniel?) McAtee and Sarah Jane
Smith's children. I'm showing John Henry, Mary Angeline, Julia Ann,
Nicholas Albert, James A., Rebecca Ann, and Martha N. (born 1848-1866).
Anybody else have anything out there?

The Martha Street who married John Dillon in 1864 is the same one married to William Street in 1857
William Street son of Anthony Street and Mary Janes was born 1826 and married first Sally Janes in Adair County Kentucky, second Martha Ann Hunt Moore in Martin County, Indiana.
Martha Ann Hunt married first Jesse Moore, second William Street, third to John Dillon and fourth and last marriage was to Asa White. William Street died at Henderson Kentucky, in March 1863 of disease (measles or typhoid) while serving in the Union Army during the civil war.
William and Martha Street are my great grandparents.
Isaac ELLIS came to Martin Co, about 1840 with his mother and father, and
sister Mary ELLIS. Recently found that Mary ELLIS married Addison DAVIS in
1843 in Martin Co, and had three daughters before she died about 1848.
Family lore says that Isaac was married to Sarah WEBSTER. I have found no
record of Isaac's first marriage, and no supporting evidence of Sarah's
surname. After Sarah's death in Aug-1848, Isaac married Abigail BARKER in
Jan-1849.
Does anyone have a Sarah WEBSTER in Martin Co, who might be a fit?

Census findings indicate that Oliver P Pierce was born in VT and Adeline Walker in IN. Adaline Pierce, age 60, was residing with dau & gr-son in Columbia twp, Martin co,IN, still in the Census of 1880. Common sense would dictate that, failing evidence to the contrary, one is entitled to assume that she is buried with her husband.
Per Indiana State Library Marriage Index, Oliver P Pierce and Adeline Walker were married 19 Oct 1837, Washington co,IN.

Jerry,
Thanks for the reply and the follow-up information. As regards Caroline D. Pierce, you are right. The info I received from New Albany was in error as to her birthdate
and I never caught it. It should be 2-12-1844, which also
agrees with her tombstone inscription at Fairview Cemetery
in New Albany.
As regards Adeline Walker, that was an error on my part in listing her as Adaline Waggoner.Adeline was born
2-15-1820,and died 4-7-1900. Where she was born and where she is buried, I don't know. Her husband, Oliver P.Pierce, was born 2-3-1816 and died 12-21-1875 and buried at Hawkins Cemetery, Martin County. I would like
to have the marriage date and location for Oliver and
Adeline if you have it. Thanks again.
