Nancy,
HELP! I just noticed something strange........
The Martin County marriage index shows that John W. Waggoner and Eva Milburn were married in November 1899. George W. Waggoner (supposedly their son, right?) was born in March 1889 and married in April 1911. That doesn't "add up".....

I know a Jim Cissell, if you will e-mail me at alyeskalady(a)yahoo.com,I can give you his telephone number.Jim was from Kentucky.
After battling with a server that seemed to bounce a good lot of messages
sent, I am returning to my old server. If any of you have tried to contact
me and I have not responded, that might be why.
If you need to contact me personally, you may address it to
funyfarm(a)hit.net
On another note, in light of events of this week, if any of you have a
memorial page or know of one that you would like to share, please let me
know. I will be making a page of links for memorial/tribute pages and
putting them up on my site.
Or if you have any brief thoughts or words that you would like to share
with others on the page, they would be considered as well. Those too should
be addressed to me at funyfarm(a)hit.net

Former Resident Dies in New York
Word has reached this city of the death of Mrs. Margaret, widow of Ade
Spaulding, which came while she was on a visit in the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Cornell Goodpasture, in Norwich, NY. She had been in failing health for
several months, and the immediate cause of her death was given as the result
of a stroke.
Mrs. Spaulding was before her marriage Margaret Brothers, a daughter of Louis
and Mary Ellen Brothers. She was born in the East Barr Township Community,
just southwest of this city. Her husband was also a native of that
community, a brother of the late Art Spaulding. He died in the year 1951.
The passing of his wife was at the age of sixty-seven years. Both will be
remembered here. They moved to Charleston, WV during their later married
years and maintained a residence there. Surviving her are four daughters, a
son, and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Greenwell, Washington, Mrs. Mabel Bradley,
Wayne, Michigan.
The body was returned to Charleston, where funeral mass and burial will be on
Friday morning.

My Great, Great Grandmother Ginievra Jane "Jennie" Strange was a sister to
Howard Abraham Stange. (Parents were Thomas Hillary Strange and Mary Jane
Macintyre) I would love to talk with you about this Stange family line.

Dear Deb,
I saw you recent query concerning the family of John and Mary Caton Zollars. I have attached a file that shows the ancestry of your daughter, Candace, back to Frederick ZOLLER, the 1751 immigrant. Let me know if you have trouble reading this file.
I have recently uploaded my database of about 8,000 people to a ZOLLARS FAMILY WEB SITE. Let me know if you would like to become a member of this WEB SITE, and I will set you up. There is no charge, and you will be able to add and edit information on the Family Tree.
Good to hear from you. According to my records, we are 4th cousins, once removed. Although I'm almost 62, I'm in your daughter's generation! She's my 5th cousin!
Jerry

I am wondering if anyone is related to the following:
My name is Debora Kay Zollars-Linder (b.9-27-1957).
My grandfather was Charles Valentine Zollars. He was the 13th child born to John & Mary Caton Zollars on September 7, 1860. He was born in McLean County, Illinois and died on Feb 23, 1941. He married Myrtle Zinn on February 11, 1904 in Fredonia, Kansas. She was born April 26, 1877 in Bates County, Missouri and died Feb 23, 1961. They had lived in Longton, Kansas since 1872 at the old Zollars farm. (north of town). He was a Mason for forty years and was given a Masonic buriel at 3:00pm on February 25th, 1941.
My grandfather and grandmother had 6 children: John Merritt Zollars, Opal Marie Zollars, David Frederick Zollars (my father), Theophilus Zollars, Charles Edward Zollars & Mable Ann Zollars. I have a lot of history regarding my family - if you would like more info please contact me. Thank you for reading.
