Thanks to Connie...I have finally located an elusive branch of the family. Now I need
input from others. I have the address for
the county offices for Marshall, but does anyone know what the prices are for death
records, and if they have death records, or do
I have to write to the state offices? Also, I see the liting of morutaries on the
Marshall web page, bit does anyone know which
of them might have been around in 1900?
BTW, the family is William, b ca1852 and Angeline, b 1859 (STEWART) KREIDER, and children
Albert ('Bert') Flora and Willie all
born in Indiana. Angeline died in Chicago in 1921 and was removed to Leiters Ford Indiana
for burial. This was on the death
record from Chicago that I had read and re-read and then read again until I finally
noticed that the cemetery where she was at was
not in Chicago. If it wasn't for that little reference, and help from Bertha in
Fulton county (who advised me to look in
Marshall county), I would have never found this family. So the moral of the story is,
Look at the document a few times and read
every corner. Anna D.
