Connie: Wow! Thanks for the offer! I am looking for William and Angela
KREIDER/KRIDER/KRIEDER. William was born ca 1852 and
Angela (STEWART) was b 1859, both of Indiana. Children include Albert b 1876, Flora and
Willie.
After much searching, I finally found William and Angela buried at Leiders (oh is it
Leiters? I forgot all of a sudden!) Ford in
Fulton county. Angela had died in 1921 in Chicago and her body removed to Fulton county.
That's how I found William. The
historian in Fulton county stated that she felt that they possibly lived in Marshall
county and went to church in Leiters Ford.
She said that there were no KREIDERS in the 1870 index for Fulton county, but there were
in 1860 and 1880. The only KREIDERs I
found in 1880 were Henry (24) widow Sarah(51) and sister Louisa(16) who at this time are
unknown to me. I have the 1860 census
for Fulton county on order at the FHL but it is on backorder. Was the 1870 census indexed
for Indiana, or just on a per county
basis? Once again, thank you. Anna D.
