Gee Connie: I hope that you were talking to me....but then I don't know what I want.
I finally did find my KREIDER family in the
Marshall co census in 1860 and 1870 (Green Twp). William was a laborer on someone
else's farm (Varnprier?)in 1870. What do they
have at the museum library? More clipping/file cards? Did you happen to se if Christian
and/or Sarah KREIDER were mentioned? I
believe that Sarah is Christian's 2nd wife and not William's mother because of the
age difference (Christian is 20 years older
than Sarah, and there is a 7 year gap between William and the next child). So my main
priority is:
1. A woman with the surname KREIDER/KRIDER who died ca 1848 - 1853.
2. Is there a 'History of Marshall County' publication? If so, the bio of
Christian KREIDER/KRIDER.
3. Marriage of William KREIDER/KRIDER to Angeline STEWART ca 1861.
4. Marriage of Christian KREIDER/KRIDER to Sarah -- ca 1854.
Christian was listed as a blacksmith in both censuses and is from PA where supposedly
William was born, but I have looked through
the indexes for Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania for 1850 and haven't found him (there
are Christians, but not with a young son
named William).
Well, if you weren't talking to me, then I apologize for pestering. Anna D.

I will be at the Marshall Co museum library tomorrow.
I can try and answer some of your questions? Please
write and list what you want me to look up in order of
priority.
Connie
