First of all, I want everyone to know that I sent for a death
certificate to the Marshall Co Health Department, and got it back in
LESS THAN 10 days. I was impressed. I do have a question, however.
The certificate I received is dated 9-7-1999, and obviously was prepared
"new" when I ordered it. A couple of pieces of info for which I was
hoping are not on the document (most importantly - a birthdate or exact
age at death, including months and days). Does anyone know if it is
possible to get an actual photocopy of the ORIGINAL record? Am hoping
there may be a tidbit on the original that didn't fit somewhere on this
form (the place for "age" was way too small to include months and
days). If it matters, this man died in 1908. Any ideas folks? Thanks,
Karen P.
