Hi Anne in NJ,
I checked the Cemetery records in Marshall County and found James W.
Livinghouse 1855-1904, and Mary C. Livinghouse 1863-1937, burried at
Oakhill Cemetery which is located at the south edge of Plymouth. I checked
further for Catherine McQuiston but did not locate her. Her last husband,
John McQuisten 1824-1902, was burried at Blissville Cemetery. Blissville
is an old cemetery and not used much anymore. It is even possible that she
may be burried there and either never had a marker or it is gone.
Sorry I could not be of more help,
Jerry Eby
Plymouth

Hello Nora:
What a wonderful offer - I cannot thank you enough - even though you may
not
be able to find out any information for me I appreciate your wanting
to
help.
I did try to call the Blissville Church twice and see if they might
have
a
listing of those buried in the cemetery but got answering machine and
did
not
want to leave my number as that would have been a long distance call
for
them.
The name that I am researching is LIVINGHOUSE/LIVERINGHOUSE - specifically
there is a James who died in 1904 - in his obituary it stated the funeral
services were conducted at the United Brethren Church in Donaldson. Even
if
you are not able to take pictures I would appreciate if you could
find out
if
there is someplace a listing of those buried there. There also might
be
other Livinghouses's buried there.
Now, I suspect that there is also buried there a CATHERINE MCQUISTON - she
was the mother of my James Livinghouse but remarried to a John McQuiston
and
in her obituary it stated that her service was held at the Blissville
Church
and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery near the church so I
really
feel she should be there. Her obituary was the reason I posted the
inquiry
about Blissville Church. Her maiden name was Repogle - then married
Henry
Livinghouse - then married John McQuiston so am not sure what name would
be
on her gravestone. If I really get lucky then her husband - Henry
Livinghouse - might be buried there also. She died in 1903 I believe.
Needless to say, if you have time, I would be more than happy to pay for
any
expenses that you might incur.
Once again, I thank you so much - Anne in NJ>
