Barbara,
Do you know someone who would be interested in the Bible itself? The person
who contacted me doesn't want it, but is willing to pass it on to someone
with an interest in the Logan family.
Karen

Subject: Re: Logan Family Bible
I am related to the Logan family, although I am not a direct
descendant of
Hugh and Eva. Hugh's father, Charles Harper Logan is my husband's 3rd
great
grandfather. He is descended from Hugh's brother, Marshall.
It is interesting that the Chaplin's signed the marriage document. Charles
Harper Logan's sister, Sarah Crum Logan, married Stedman Chaplin. SA
Chaplin
may be Stedman.
I would be interested in copies of the inscription pages.
One history note: Henry Logan is Charles Harper Logan's father and he was
one of the first white men to settle in Marshall county.
Thank you for posting this find.
Barbara
