Sue,
Wonder if we have a link in Peter Keplinger. Mary A. Stough (oldest child
of William Stough I just queried about) was born June 21, 1816 Cumberland
Co. PA.
Mary Stough married 1833 in Ohio to Peter Keplinger. Have no info about dod
of Mary (Stough) Keplinger (or any other information for that matter). The
William Stough family moved to Whitley Co. IN about 1853.
Is this the same Peter Keplinger?
Janet

Subject: Miller and Harris surname
Hi:
I am new to the Marshall County list. I am researching the following
surnames:
Gideon and Margaret Miller are on the 1860 Bourbon Township census with 6
children:
Margaret, Sophia, John M., Henry and Lucinda
Elizabeth Fryar Weaver Kepinger (Kiplinger) married George Fryar in Darke
County, Ohio in 1820 and moved to St. Joseph County, IN about 1837. After
the death of George, she married Peter Keplinger. She is on the 1860 and
1870 census in North Township, Marshall County living with one of her
children.
William R. Harris moved to Bourbon Township, Marshall County about 1850 with
his mother Lydia Rice Harris and his siblings from Wayne County, Ohio. He
married Lydia Fryar, the daughter of George and Elizabeth. They had 9
children. Their daughter, Ada married John M. Miller, son of Gideon and
Margaret.
I would like to correspond and share information with anyone researching any
of the families.
Sue
