John,
Cemeteries in Plymouth, Indiana are:
1. St. Michaels Cemetery on the corner of Harrison and Oak Streets. I have
heard it referred to as the Old Catholic Cemetery. It is a very small
cemetery. Don't know who takes care of the records.
2. Oak Hill Cemetery - It is a very large cemetery. I will be calling my
aunt in Plymouth tomorrow morning and I will ask her to look up the address
and phone number.
These are the only two that I know of in Plymouth. Maybe someone else on
the list might know of others.
Rhonda

Subject: [INMARSHA] Obits. and Cemeteries
Does anyone know where I may write for more recent obituaries from
the
Culver Citizen Newspaper?
I've tried borrowing microfilm of the Culver Citizen from the
Indiana
State Library through interlibrary loan, but apparently the library
doesn't
own any editions of the newspaper later than 1974. I'm searching for
obituaries for members of the Houghton family.
Also, does anyone know if there are compiled cemetery records for or know
any
addresses for cemeteries in Plymouth, Indiana? Again, I'm looking for
the graves of Houghton family members, i.e. descendants of Thomas Houghton
(1829-1918) and Mary Ellen Byrd (1836-1875)? Similarly, does anyone know of
any graves of Byrd or of Henderson family members besides those in the
Culver Masonic or Burr Oak Cemeteries of Union Township?
Any help will be gratefully received. Many thanks!!!
