Paula,
Alot of the transcribers use Mac's so I am sure the CD's work with Mac. We
have a special program for Mac users as far as the transcription templates
go. The time commitment varies on what County and year you decide to do.
Generally the earlier the year the smaller the census. You take as much time
as you need there are not time limits.

What kind of commitment are you looking for and what are the time
frames for this project? I'd love to help with at least one of "my"
counties but I will have very limited free time until April, perhaps
until June due to a heavy load at work. Are the CD's readable by a
MAC? Let me know what I would be committing to and I'll see if it's
possible to work in this worthwhile project.
