I am glad my instructions are finally working for somebody. I have a friend
at work, who's grandfather, Fred Wicks, bought some land in California in
the 1920's, and I was able to show him the exact location, and all the other
info, then converted it to an aerial map, which turned out to be up in the
mountains near Mt. Shasta. He is so excited he plans to take his family
this summer and go camping on it!
To change the info into Longitude and Latitude you have to first click on
the State and then the County, then look for a nearby landmark, like a
stream, gulch, school, and once you navigate through the Topozone website
you get the hang of it.
The Google Earth does show Latitude and Longitude on the bottom of the
screen but I was having trouble with it yesterday. Don't know why. Bob

Hi Bob:
It worked great. Thanks so much for all the help. The only problem I had
at first was finding the latitude and longitude to use on the
maps.google.com and then I happened to look down at the bottom of the page
the map was on and lo and behold the URL of the map had the latitude and
longitude right on it <g>.
