I think I read an article that was posted sometime ago about the demise of
that cemetery. The priest wanted it gone. What a shame. You love your
church and want to be buried in it's burial grounds and that should be a
sacred place that the family should never have to worry about.. Bob

I would imagine this is not an uncommon occurrence.
There are several similar stories in the town where I
live. The Catholic cemetery used to be right next to
the church and they moved the graves across town at
some point. Years later when they were building a new
building next to the church they dug up bones and
grave stones. There's also a legend that the original
city cemetery was in a now-unknown location and when
they relocated the cemetery they only moved the
stones, nothing else.
