Hey there!
I am a little worried! I tried my great grandmother and great grandfather
and they did not come up, when they did before all of the changes!!! Do you
have an idea of what is going on there?
Regards,
Catherine

Subject: [INMARION] Crown Hill BURIAL LOCATOR
Wanted the list to see a new feature of the Crown Hill burial locator at
http://www.crownhill.org/burials/blocator.php
Using as an example the last name WARD, put that name in the SEARCH BOX and
scroll all the way down to the bottom. Notice it matches any name with the
word WARD in it. Also it lists the name in numerical order with the burial
date. Crown Hill uses that instead of death dates. If you ever call Crown
Hill and ask for a death certificate, you have to give the burial date.
Death certificates are on file from 1/13/1882 to present.
Notice about 5 Wards up from the bottom are four that appear to be buried on
the same day; 6/21/1882. That is more likely the date the family were
moved from another cemetery to Crown Hill and reinterred. In this case it
was from the Washington Churchyard, north of the Dawson -Bacon Cemetery near
Glendale, at Kessler Blvd. & Keystone.
Also, if you go through the whole list of a family name, you can get a good
idea who is in the same plot. The old locator told if a tombstone was
issued but it was not a good indicator, as stones were sometimes ordered
long after burial. This explanation should be clear as mud. Bob
