Janet, at the GSMC library today I bought a CD on the Greenlawn burials and
King is not on the civilian list. BUT, in the Civil War soldiers there are 4
Kings:
Harrison, no unit reported; John H. A Co. 97th he died Oct. 3, 1862; Paul 11
Calvary he died Feb. 16, 1864 and William D. 5th Battery he died Dec. 24,
1861. These soldiers were reinterred in Oct. thru Dec. 1866 from Greenlawn
to Crown Hill. Bob

Bob, Sorry, I'm not looking for Foerster's from Greenlawn Cemetery. I'm
looking for Kings. When Cornelius King died in 1887 his 2nd wife, Indiana
Burkhart King, bought a large plot and had the 1st wife of Cornelius and 3
children moved (probably from Greenlawn Crown Hill told me) to Crown Hill
and on May 4 1887 they were reinterred. I have census records that show the
sons, William and John and wife May Ann but the only record of Ida May King
is this cemetery record that gives no birth date. The copy of the Lot 338
layout shows Ida May King's as child size, which could mean an infant up to
about 10 yrs? She's buried next to the second wife so I'm assuming Ida May
was her daughter.

Janet, are you looking for Foerster's from Greenlawn? There is a Greenlawn
book at the State Library and one at the Genealogy Society of Marion County
library. I don't have a copy. You could contact the "ask the libriarian"
link at the Indiana State Library and they will look it up for you. You
could call them too. What are the names you are looking for? Bob

Hi,
I have family who were moved from Greenlawn Cemetery to Crown Hill Cemetery
in 1887 when the father of the family died amd was buried there. Are there
any records of Greenlawn Cemetery available? All Crown Hill has on these
people are their names and reinterred date.
Thanks,
Janet
