Subject: [INMARION] Shearer, Indianapolis history 1908
Does anyone have access to this book?
*“Commemorative Biographical Record of Prominent and Representative Men of *
*Indianapolis and Vicinity – containing Biographical Sketches of Business *
*and Professional Men and of Many of the Early Settled families.”
ILLUSTRATED.*
*1908; Chicago; J. H. Beers & Co.*
If so I would appreciate a look up for three key words on page 225, in the
Bio of Daniel Shearer.
Page 225, second column, 2nd paragraph which begins:
"On July 14, 1844 Mr. Shearer married Martha Ann Robertson, daughter of
William and Frances Tal____
Robertson of Virginia . . ."
Later in that same paragraph "3. Mary Frances is the wife of Edward Bencher
of _____ Iowa
Page 225, second column, 3rd paragraph which begins
"Mr Shearer married for his second wife . . . . ." and goes on to say
"Mr
Shearer married
Mrs. Elizabeth Darrow, daughter of John ____ of Hamilton county Ohio."
That blanks are essential to further research.
Thank you
