Jo:
So glad that Joy was able to locate the information you needed. My father was also
stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison in the 40s. My understand is that he was the highest
ranking provost marshal at that time and the Fort was also a prisoner of war location
during WWII and held German POWs. Do you know what rank your uncle was?
My mother and father lived in a small trailer park near the Fort on Pendleton Pike until
they bought a house from the man who owned the trailer park. Their house was near what was
the Meadows Shopping Center close to Millersville and Keystone area.

About a year ago I gratefully received information from this List
concerning an uncle of mine
who resided in Marion Co, IN while he was stationed at Fort Benjamin
Harrison and was included in the 1940 Census. I now need help to see how
long he was included in the Indianapolis area City Directories to give me an
idea when he died or moved away from Indianapolis. Thanks for any help!
I have tried looking at the Directories on Google but with my low vision it
is impossible for me
to read the small print
In 1940 my uncle, James J. Redmond and his wife Hazel were living at:
Lawrence Twp, Marion Co, Indiana
In 1942 James and Hazel Redmond were living at 3434 Orchard Ave
Indianapolis, IN.
