Abraham Reck,, whom I believe is the pastor of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church
to which you refer, is the brother of my great great great grandmother, Mary
Elizabeth Reck, who married Adam Haugh in Frederick Co., MD in 1813 and
whose family traveled to Indianapolis in 1836 with Abraham Reck and his
family. I believe that Adam Haugh was one of the first elders of the
church.

I am looking for further information on the families from Frederick
County, MD who settled in Indianapolis, forming the Ebenezer Lutheran Church
in 1836 at 42nd & Millersville Road.
Specifically the following families:

Ringer Smay
Harper Bower
Easterday Reck
Schnee Mowrey
I have information to share. If anyone knows of a microfilm of the
