Is the Christian Wilharm and widow Sophia the same as mine? I have a
Sophie Caroline Röwer (1831-1915) who married Christian Wilharm
(c1812-1873) on Oct 9th, 1852 in Indianapolis. The Röwer family was from
Meinsen, Schaumburg-Lippe which is near Minden. They had five children
that I'm aware of:
William (b. c8152)
Caroline (1856-1879)
Wilhelmina 1860-1931) married William Ballinger
Christian (1863-1897) married Sophie Kellermeier
Emma (1866-1873)
My interest is in the Röwer family and I have little information on the
Wilharm family. I would like to learn more though.

Dear MA,
I want to thank you for the Wilharm information. It appears that you have
found another Christian Wilharm and a Sophia (widow) at an address I have
missed.
I have been unable to acquire citizenship papers on the father Charles who
was born in Germany. Is it possible that he came over with his father as a
young boy and not have had papers.
Thanks a bunch. I will check these things out. I hope to be in Indianapolis
in early summer to check out some things that I can't do from Texas.
