Fred,
Thank you for doing this. I'm looking for the surname SEDRICK if you
happen
to come across it.
You never know where a connection may be made.

Subject: [MARION COUNTY, IN] Explanation/Response & Further News
articles
Thank you all for your gracious responses to my fledgling attempts
to put
on the net all of these old newspaper articles that I have
inherited. (I
just wish they were in condition to scan). Several of you have not
only
responded, but asked about your "brick walls". PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO
SO!
But you need to understand, there are literally more than a few
hundred
of these articles and they are in big scrapbooks in NO ORDER, OR NOT
BY
FAMILY! They are just my wonderful Great Aunt's collections over
her
lifetime. They relate to my HARRIS family, but they may be just
friends
in some cases, or cousins 3, 4 or 5 times removed. And, once in a
while,
they are in my direct line which are HARRIS' that originated in
Germany
and came over during the Rev. War and then settled in Mifflin Cty.,
PA.,
for a while before then migrating to Tusc. Cty., OH and staying for
a
generation and then ending up in central and southwestern IN. (And
of
course going "everywhere " from there.
So, please continue to send your inquires as convenient, and I will
do my
best to keep you emails for when I run across an article that
relates to
your question and then recontact you? (I hope)! I also hope that I
will
get some new leads also!! Thanks for your help and understanding.
FRED HARRIS
