Hi Catherine;
I checked the 1900 Census for Indiana and Ohio and did
not find Bailey. I also checked the WPA marriage
records and did not find Bailey's or Esse's marriage
records in Indiana.

I ran searches for Esse Rudisell on both
Ancestry.com and
Geneology.com.
All I found was the SS Death Index that says he died
Jan 1963 and was born
27 May 1879, and the 1930 Census.
1930 Census shows Esse living in Franklin Township
of Johnson County,
Indiana at 286 Hante Street. He is a white male, 41
years old, married,
born in Ohio, father born in Ohio, mother born in
Kentucky, employed as a
laborer.
Wife Tilda is a white female, 36, born in Indiana,
father born in Indiana,
mother born in Kentucky.
Children are Carl, 14; Russell, 11; Otto, 9; Orris,
7; Martha, 5; and Ruby,
2.
He may have been married in Johnson County. You can
contact Johnson County
Vital Records. For a minimal fee they will run a
search on him and/or
members of the family.
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help. I know how
frustrating it is not to
find the information that you need!!!
