Hi Lisa:
I checked the online burials for Crown Hill and they did not have any
Arden/Ardin's buried there. I also checked the WPA death records and did
not find a Joseph, Martha, or William. Sorry!!

Subject: [INMARION] New to list
Hello,
I am new to the list. I have been trying to find my ggg grandparents
Joseph (b. 1835) and Martha(b.1851) Arden. They are in the 1880 census in
Indy, but then I can not find them again. I know for sure by 1910 Martha was
dead, this according to her Mother in the census stating she had 4 children
and all 4 of them were dead. I have a feeling Joseph and Martha died some
time between 1880 and 1896. They had a child William, that is supposed to
be buried at Crown Hill, but when I contacted the cemetery they had no
record of his being buried there.
So my question is, I know the health dept. holds death records for this
time period, but is there an index I can look in to see if they are listed
before paying for a copy of their death cert?
Lisa
