The Westfall's of Miami Co. are actually a very old family. The original immigrant
was Jurian Westfall in the early 1600's in New Amsterdam. You will find quite a bit
about them on the internet. My husband's family is also related through a Westfall
line in Miami Co. but we haven't found out which line yet.

Hi,
I know when William died, I found him in a death index for the city, and next to his
name it said Crown Hill, that is why I contacted the cemetery, but they have no
record of him being buried there. I am hoping if I can find William in a cemetery I
will find his parents with him. William died around the age of 7 abt. 1880 (I can not
believe I did not record the actual death date in my FTM, I will have to look for it)
Martha and Joseph Arden's daughter, my gg grandmother shows up in Ohio
around the age of 16 alone. That is why I am thinking Martha and Joseph where
already dead by 1891.
My other family in the city perhaps one of you have them in your tree
Martha's sister, Mary Westfall b. 1853 married a John C Putnam in 1879. From
the census again, I know Mary was dead before 1910.
John and Mary Putnam had a daughter Lelia b. 1880. She married Noah Smyth in
1896. She had at least two children, Mary Smyth b. 1897 and Glen Smyth b. 1901
Mary and Martha's mother Marie Westfall- Knox shows up in the census with her
grand-daughter Lelia. I believe Marie dies between 1920 and 1930.
I have no idea what became of these people or where they are buried and etc.
The Westfalls were originally from Miami County Ohio, but Martha married Joseph
Arden and settled in Indy. Then it seemed her siblings followed.
