According to my GG Uncle's marriage application, his dad Edward Smith, was
born in Dromore, County Tyrone, Ireland. His wife was born there too, and
she has a birth year of 1860. I don't know anything of Edwards family
except his oldest daughter's baptism certif. shows an Eleanor Smith as one
of her sponsors/Godparents. I don't know how Eleanor fits into the scheme
of the family tree. Seeing how he died between census, I can't find him.
I am sorry Theresa. I hope you find your link to your Smith family.

This is a shot in the dark but sometimes brings surprises. Do you
know
any of Edwards Smiths brothers and sisters. I am looking for a James A.
Smith born in Indiana on 27 September 1856. He was around Indianapolis
between 1885 and 1926. He was married in 1885 and died in 1932, so I know
those dates are ok. His children were placed in the Guardians Home when
his wife died. Thank you. Theresa tcrail(a)insightbb.com
