Karla,
I'm not familiar with the cemeteries in Indianapolis with the
exception of one. That is Concordia Cemetery which is where my
German ancestors are buried. I know the cemetery was used by members
of St. Paul Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran.
Have you contacted the Genealogical Society of Marion County
(GSMC)? I understand they have a CD of the burials in Concordia
Cemetery. I walked the cemetery myself looking for my ancestors, but
if you can't to the cemetery this sounds like a good option.

Dear Listers,
Perhaps, you can answer this question for me. I am looking for
a repository of German language newspapers such as the Indianapolis
Public Library. Has anyone on this list ever searched one for an
obituary? We are looking for the death of Johann Georg ILG and his
wife, Louisa. They probably died before 1900. Thank you for any help.
