Dear Ones,
I had to take time to write you all and let you know my little message from God. Or at
least that is how I perceive it.
As some of you know I missed a family reunion , (my dad's mother's side; Elizabeth
was her name) which culminated due to 25 blind letters , and to a great deal of help from
a new cousin who responded to my plea on a geneology forum. In a years time, hundreds
people had discovered or re-discovered each other. I was not a very happy camper as the
day for all to meet face to face, was today , and I was 10 hours away !!
I have also been investigating my mom's side of the family who came from Germany and
settled in Madison, IN. One part of that family had already been traced back to England in
the 1500's. So I have had fun learning about my family.
As some of you know my daughter in law of 2 yrs. (Annette) is expecting a baby girl (God
willing) in October. She knows I dabble in genealogy, but has no idea of the extent I have
gone. Nor does she or my son know names and towns, ect.
Tonight, they were over for my Grandsons 13th Birthday party (My daughter Ann's son).
A day which I am PROUD to celebrate. Had I been able to go to the reunion, we would have
had the party last weekend.
While we were sitting around talking, Annette says--Oh! Cece-- Did you know we have
decided on a name for the baby? I said, No-- What is it ? She said--- Madison Elizabeth.
Well, if you will re-read over the letter you just read, I think you will find those two
names have a prominate spot in my heart. God spoke to me tonight, and I feel my ancestors
had a part in it too !! I had to tell the world !!
