Greetings to the list,
Is there anyone in the Marion Co. area who does Vital Record Lookups?
I am interested in a possible Death Record for a Mary "Mollie" Elizabeth
(Brown) Gibson; b. 1885ish in TN; d. 1925ish (possibly) in Indianapolis,
IN. Mary's spouse was Samuel Gibson. Mary is my Paternal Grandmother. I
have searched for records on Mary in OH - thinking that is where she died,
but have come up blank. I have recently discovered a first cousin (!!!)
who believes that our Grandmother may have died in Indianapolis around
1925. She also told me that our Grandmother died of Bright's Disease
(kidney disease) and that she worked as a Practical Nurse.
If there isn't anyone who does these sorts of lookups - could someone
please advise me on how I should proceed with contacting the local Vital
Stats Dept. since I have so little information (and frankly, am not even
sure of what I do have!)
I thank you for your time and assistance.
