The 1930 census is not out yet. However the 1920 census is out and in the
following places (information is derived from the Indiana Genealogical
Research by George K Schweitzer, Ph.D., Sc.,D.) page 50 reads.
US Bureau of the Census, FOURTEENTH CENSUS OF THE US, 1920, IN, Microfilm
T625, Rolls 420-475, National Archives, Washington, DC.
Both the census indexes and the census films are available in NA - National
Archives, Washington, DC., RBNA - Regional Branches of National Archives,
ISL - IN State Library, Indianpolis, IN, ACPL - Allen Co. Publiic Library, Ft.
Wayne, IN., FHL (FHC) Family History Centers - Library, Salt Lake City,UT.,
and
some RL - Regional Library(ies)., LGL - Large genealogical library(ies), LL
Local Library(ies). Other LL have the printed or microfiche or computor
disk indexes but not the microfilmed indexes or censuses. In such cases, LL
can borrow the microfilm indeses and/or censuses on interlibrary loan from
American Genealogical Lending Library, P.O.Bos 329, Bountiful, UT 84011
Note:The letters for the holding depositories were in the info not the names
of the depositories. I put both in so you would know what the abbre. terms
are if you see them again or print this out and put in a notebood for future
reference.
I went to a seminar in Mesa, Arizona on the 12th of Feb and Cyndi Howell of
Cyndi's List was the speaker. If you ever get a chance to hear this lady go,
GO, as she is good and through in her explanations. I got the above book
from one of the venders out of OK. and she has a good company she get her
census CDs from and the print outs are just terrific and clean and clear.
Good resolutions can be made on line for these CDs. Will put that info in
later but they do not have all census for IN. I do hope this answers the
question to satisfaction on the 1920 and 1930 census years.
There are more census records that are mentioned in the book and I will put
them in later as they take up another page and a half in the book.

The 1920 census has been out since 1992. Each census is made public
72
years after it is taken.
