My favorite link is the Indianapolis map viewer. It takes some practice but
I can zero in on an aerial location for Marion County, then enable the
Aerial map set, and click back through the years to the aerial picture of
1937. This is helpful when we had a cemetery plowed out when the south leg
of 465 went through. In a google search window type INDYGOV MAPS, and when
you see selection page click on GENERAL VIEWER. To be able to print though,
YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF COOKIES. Bob

Wow - thanks for the link. I didn't know it existed and quickly found 22
hits on my direct ancestors!
It makes me wonder.... does anyone else have websites that they use to find
information about Indianapolis ancestors that might be a bit off the beaten
track?
