The SPERBACK's lived in Tippecanoe County, IN for many
years, and some lived in Greencastle, IN (Putnam
County) around the 1930's. My gg-grandmother's sister,
Ellen CARTE, was married to a William SPERBACK. They
had a son named Justin SPERBACK who was in
Indianapolis with my great-grandpa's brother John
PLATT when he was murdered in 1922. They all lived in
the south-eastern portion of Tippecanoe county in the
late 1800's-early 1900's and there was also a LONEY
family who lived there, there are several buried in
Funk-Newcomer Cemetery, you can see their graves on
Find-A-Grave. I don't know how all of these connect
but it is my understanding that there was only 1
SPERBACK family, I'm pretty sure there are some people
in Tippecanoe County researching them who might be
able to help you out. I know there are folks there
researching the LONEY family, not sure about KEY.

Mary
LONEY-SPERBACK-KEY
To: INMARION(a)rootsweb.com
I am trying to locate the deaths of Joseph LONEY and
his wife, Mary Brubaker,
who were last found on 1930 census in Marion Co., IN
in Center Twp., of
Indianapolis City Ward 9 - street address: 260 No.
Keystone Avenue.
Joseph is shown as aged 83 b IN
Mary is shown as aged 73 b PA
Their daughter and son-in-law were living with them:
John SPERBACK - aged 53, b IN
Minnie M Sperback - aged 48, b IN
Their granddaughter and husband were also living
with them:
Cecil KEY aged 35, b IN
Mary Avaline - aged 25, b IN
I've searched via Ancestry and SSDI and the
USGenWeb's Marion County site but
no luck and I am now at a loss of where to turn.
I'm hoping to find their deaths, place of burial,
and then obituaries.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
