Hi Virginia:
My death records end at 1920. My GGGGrandfather had
Bright's Disease. Here is the definition:
Bright's Disease - Chronic inflammatory disease of
kidneys
I have never seen any hospital records that were
available for viewing. That is an interesting
thought.

Greetings to the list:
My Grandmother Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Gibson died
around 1925 in (what I believe to be) Indianapolis.
I was told by my cousin that she died of a rare
kidney disease called Brite's Disease. Considering
the time frame, and possible rarity of disease, do
you think there are special hospital records housed
somewhere that may aid in finding out more? I have
no information on the location of her death - just a
"I think it was in Indianapolis." I wish I had more
information...sorry.
